Challenge
How many ways can you ‘surprise’ people (in a good way) this week?
Perhaps you could make a card or gift for a friend or family member, surprise your parents by tidying a room in the house or making them a drink or snack or help someone in need.
Craft - Be Ready Bags
Decorate a small lunch bag with a clock and the words BE READY WHEN JESUS COMES and Matthew 24:36,44.
Write/draw on slips of paper ideas of how we can be ready for Jesus such as loving others, caring for the sick, feeding the hungry, helping the poor, praying, reading our Bible, etc.
